There is no guaranteed cheapest weekday for every flight from Manila. The useful answer is the lowest acceptable total for your route, dates, passengers and baggage. Compare nearby departure and return dates together; a low outbound fare can be cancelled out by an expensive return or an extra night away.
Search a date window, not a weekday rule
This guide does not claim a measured Manila fare dataset or a fixed percentage saving. Airline inventory changes, and a weekday pattern from another market cannot establish the cheapest date for your trip.
Start with one realistic itinerary and hold these inputs constant: airports, passenger count, cabin, baggage, acceptable stops and trip length. Then change dates. Searching for one traveller when your family needs four seats can produce a comparison you cannot buy for the group.
Google’s fare tools include date comparisons and a price graph. Its price predictions use past trends and can be wrong. Treat a price label as information, not a booking deadline or a promise.

For an airport comparison, use the actual codes shown in the result. MNL and CRK are different departure airports. Price the transfer from where you will actually start, with all travellers and bags included.
Compare total cost with a simple example
This is a hypothetical calculation, not a fare quote. Suppose option A totals PHP 8,000 after baggage and airport transport. Option B shows PHP 7,200 but requires a PHP 1,500 overnight stay. B then costs PHP 8,700 before meals: the lower flight price is not the cheaper trip.
Write down both departure and arrival dates. An overnight flight can change the day on which you need a hotel, pickup or onward domestic ticket. Also read the cancellation and change conditions if your leave has not yet been approved.
When to stop searching
Set a maximum total you can afford and the latest date by which you need to book. Keep a short list of acceptable options. If a fare meets both your budget and practical constraints, weigh the risk of losing it against the uncertain benefit of waiting.

Common questions
Should I always fly on Tuesday or Wednesday?
No. Include those days in your search if they fit your plans, but compare them with the other available dates. A holiday, schedule change or limited seat inventory can reverse a supposed pattern.
Is the cheapest day to book the same as the cheapest day to fly?
No. One is the purchase date; the other is the travel date. This page provides no evidence for a universal best purchase weekday.
Should I exclude baggage to make the fare cheaper?
