What FlyPilipinas records, why, and for how long.

Last revised: October 23, 2026

Events we record

To know whether the site works, we record a few events in our own database (Cloudflare D1):

  • a page being opened;
  • the first change to a search-form field (not what you typed);
  • a search being submitted: the airport codes of the route and, if the form had a problem, the type of problem;
  • a partner link being used: the partner, the page and the button;
  • how fast the page loaded in your browser (Core Web Vitals).

Each record includes the time, the page language and address, your country (a two-letter code from Cloudflare) and the device type (mobile or desktop). We do not record your IP address, name, email, travel dates or number of travellers, and we use no cookies or IDs to recognise you. Records are deleted after about 400 days.

If you email us

We use your email address and message only to reply. We don’t sell or share them.

Hosting

Cloudflare delivers and protects the site. In doing so it processes technical data such as IP addresses. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Partners

When you use a partner link (Aviasales or AirHelp), the partner’s privacy policy applies on its site, and it may set its own cookies. See the affiliate disclosure.

What we don’t do

We use no advertising or analytics cookies, no Google Analytics and no social-media pixels, and we don’t sell data.

Offline page

Your browser may store a copy of our offline page so we can show a message when you have no connection.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, laws such as the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 or the EU GDPR may give you the right to access or delete data about you. Our event records carry no identifier, so we cannot link them to you; for emails you sent us, write to hello@flypilipinas.com.
