How FlyPilipinas pages are made, sourced and corrected.

How pages are written

Most of our guides were drafted with the help of AI language models. Route, airport and airline pages are generated from our route data with a template. Not every page has been reviewed by a person before publication, and we do not claim otherwise.

Sources we prefer

  1. Official sources: airlines, airports and government agencies such as the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW), the Bureau of Immigration, the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Bureau of Customs, the Civil Aeronautics Board, and embassies.
  2. Foreign regulators for passenger rights, such as the EU and the UK Civil Aviation Authority.
  3. Other public sources for general background only.

When a page lists its sources, you will find them below the text. Visa, baggage and compensation rules change — always confirm with the airline or the official source before you travel.

Dates on each page

  • Published — when the page first went online.
  • Content updated — when the text last changed. Rebuilding the site does not change it.
  • Facts checked — shown only when we have a record of a check.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t invent authors, reviews or ratings.
  • We don’t sell places in rankings or favourable descriptions.
  • We don’t assume every reader is an overseas worker, and we don’t ask about your work status.

Tagalog translations

Some guides were translated into Tagalog with the help of AI and have not yet been reviewed by a native editor. When a page has no translation, you see the English original with a note.

Corrections

If you find a mistake, email hello@flypilipinas.com with the page link. We correct confirmed errors and update the content date when the text changes.
